Project type
Japandi-inspired showhome
Scope
For this Japandi inspired space - we executed complete design services for bathrooms, kitchens, finishes, plumbing, and lighting — from framing all the way through to completion. Plus, we offered furnishing and styling to bring this space to life.
Timeline
3 months
Our goal for this project was to thoughtfully nod to the popular Japandi trend, while ensuring the home remains accessible and appealing to a wide range of potential buyers. We aimed to showcase our ability to be visionary and creative—without leaning too far into exclusivity. This custom home is designed to be forward-thinking, yet flexible enough to evolve with future design trends or adapt to a new homeowner’s personal style without requiring major renovations.
A carefully chosen palette of greens, creams, and light-to-medium wood tones brings a sense of freshness and optimism to the space. These finishes feel intentional but never overworked, striking a balance between contemporary appeal and timelessness.
The full-height feature wall in the living room creates a sense of drama and grandeur, establishing a strong visual anchor for the space. In the family room, custom cabinetry and detailed wall treatments add both function and unique character.
One of the standout elements is the oval fluted island, engineered specifically for this home. With its soft, rounded edges, it embraces a key current trend while reinforcing the idea that this kitchen—like the home overall—is as special and inviting as the future homeowner will be.
